The estate had high-definition security cameras mounted under the roof eaves near the pool area. Elena called her older brother, David, who worked as an IT specialist for a local electronics repair shop. They met in the back corner of the diner, where Elena explained every detail of the incident near the pool. David: If those cameras were running, the video file exists on his home server or remote backup.
Elena: Victoria probably told him the cameras were turned off or broken. She is smart about those things.
David: We cannot hack into his private server legally, but we can check if the external drive has local backups.
While they discussed their options, Elena received a text message from a unknown number. It was a message from the family's former housekeeper, Martha, who had retired two months earlier. Martha had heard about Elena's sudden firing through the neighborhood staff network and wanted to meet. Elena hurried to a nearby park to talk with the older woman.

Elena: But why push the baby into the pool? That makes no sense!
Martha: If the baby had been harmed while you were on duty, Mark would be blamed for negligent hiring. It creates chaos, distraction, and leverage in court.
